Inspired by Nisene Marks State Park near the Santa Cruz Mountains. 

 

This painting is a part of my "Forest Therapy" series. In this series I am exploring the play between light and shadow as they create movement through the trees. A visual path of light to follow and an ethereal quality brings magic to these densely wooded forest scenes.

This painting is created on a Cradled Birch Panel (1 1/2” profile) and is sold without a frame. I have installed D ring hangers and a wire so you can put it right on the wall when you receive it. I have also coated it with a UV protectant varnish with a matte sheen. It comes wrapped nicely in craft paper & tied with twine.
